NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. – Next month, the Morton-James Public Library in Nebraska City will highlight the resilience of the human spirit.
On Aug. 1 at 7 p.m., Bill Ganzel will present “Dust Bowl Descent.”
Funded by Humanities Nebraska, this program details Ganzel’s journey of finding and interviewing survivors of the Great Depression, featuring photographs from the Farm Security Administration.
“Dust Bowl Descent” shares powerful stories and images, comparing recent photographs with those taken 60 years ago.
This event is part of Humanities Nebraska’s Speakers Bureau, which offers around 300 programs by over 165 speakers on various topics.
