Three people were shot and killed early Sunday on Chicago’s South Side, according to police.
The shooting occurred at about 2:17 a.m. in the 500-block of East 76th Street near Eberhart in the Chatham neighborhood.
Two men and a woman were arguing with two unknown individuals. Shortly after, the pair got into a silver SUV and started shooting at the victims. The SUV then drove away.
All three victims were hit by multiple bullets. They were taken to the hospital but succumbed to their injuries, police said.
The silver SUV fled eastbound, and no other injuries were reported.
As of now, no suspects are in custody. Chicago Police Department detectives are investigating the incident as a homicide.
